Start with a defined work package.

A focused scope helps prime contractors identify the support, handoffs, and deliverables they need.

Name the workstream

A subcontract conversation is easier to evaluate when it describes a defined portion of the workload. That might be document control, records review, compliance exception tracking, management reporting, or a training and implementation effort.

Agree on the handoffs

Identify who supplies the records, who can answer questions, who authorizes corrections, and who accepts the final deliverable. Clarify access to existing systems and the format in which the work will be returned.

For a backlog or surge, define the period and expected volume. For recurring work, define the reporting cycle and how new exceptions will be assigned and tracked.

Bring the scope to the conversation

Share the solicitation or project name, agency or owner, scope, deadline, period of performance, and required qualifications. True Bearing can then evaluate how the work aligns with its capabilities and which questions need to be resolved before an engagement.
